  • 1 tub whipped topping (8 ounces, thawed)
  • 1 heaping cup small marshmallows
  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts (plus 2 tablespoons for garnish)
  • ¼ cup tiny chocolate bits (plus 1 tablespoon for garnish)
  • 2 fresh bananas (sliced)
  • 2 jars maraschino cherries (10 ounces each, halved)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the banana pudding mix with the undrained crushed pineapple until thickened.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping using a soft spatula until well mixed.
  3. Add marshmallows, most of the walnuts, chocolate bits, banana slices, and halved cherries. Mix delicately.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
  5. Before serving, garnish with reserved walnuts and chocolate bits.
