  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 7-ounce container plain Greek yogurt
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing yogurt, garam masala, lemon juice, black pepper, and ginger in a large bowl. Add bite-sized chicken pieces, coating well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a nonstick pan over high heat, sear the marinated chicken until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, heavy cream, garlic, garam masala, paprika, salt, and cayenne. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan and simmer for about 20 minutes until fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
