- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar (1/2 cup for filling + 1/2 cup for topping)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon; set aside.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Spray a 9×13" baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on the bottom.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough onto waxed paper and press seams together. Place it in the pan over the cinnamon-sugar layer.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
- Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it on top of the cream cheese filling.
- Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top layer of dough.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
