Description

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar (1/2 cup for filling + 1/2 cup for topping)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13" baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Unroll one can of crescent dough onto waxed paper and press seams together. Place it in the pan over the cinnamon-sugar layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  7. Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it on top of the cream cheese filling.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top layer of dough.
  9. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
