  • 1 Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • ½ tablespoon creamed horseradish
  • 1 baguette (sliced into 1/2”-thick slices, approximately 20 slices)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • balsamic glaze (to drizzle each crostini)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped, to garnish each crostini)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steak with kosher salt. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let it rest before slicing thinly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese, water, and creamed horseradish until smooth.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and toast them on a baking sheet for about 5–6 minutes until golden.
  4. Spread horseradish sauce on each crostini, top with sliced steak, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and garnish with chopped chives.
