- 1/4 cup warm water
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, warm water, and sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle yeast on top and let froth for about 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix into the yeast mixture.
- Add softened butter and egg; stir until combined.
- Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf or rolls on a lined baking sheet, cover again and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix beaten egg with water for an egg wash and brush over the dough.
