Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice; stir until mixed.
  3. Pour the rice mixture into the greased baking pan and place the chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Optionally, uncover and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving directly from the pan.
