Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice; stir until mixed.
- Pour the rice mixture into the greased baking pan and place the chicken breasts on top.
- Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Optionally, uncover and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving directly from the pan.
