Scale
  • 20 Oreo cookies (230 grams)

  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 8 ounces bittersweet baking chocolate (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/3 cups heavy cream (cold)
  • 4 teaspoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Mix in melted butter and press into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for about 10 minutes until set; allow to cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat granulated sugar and eggs on high speed until thickened and pale. Gradually add melted chocolate while mixing, then blend in vanilla extract and softened butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  4. To prepare whipped cream topping, beat cold heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Spread over the chilled pie before serving.
