Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (only peanuts and salt)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1.5 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 4.5 cups Chex Mix cereal (gluten-free honey nut preferred)
  • 2/3 cup chocolate or vanilla protein powder

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted, stirring until smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add Chex cereal and pour the melted chocolate mixture over it. Use a rubber spatula to coat evenly.
  3. Stir in the protein powder or shake everything in a ziplock bag until well coated.
