Ingredients

- 2 cups chicken broth

- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
Instructions

- Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sear the chicken in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown; remove from heat.
- Toast the uncooked rice in the same pan for 1-2 minutes while stirring.
- Pour in the chicken broth and stir in BBQ sauce and honey.
- Return the seared chicken to the pan.
- Bring to a boil, then cover and let simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Add mixed vegetables on top; cover and cook for another 5 minutes until rice is tender.
