  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook sliced sausage until browned (about 5 minutes), then remove.
  3. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink; remove.
  4. Add broccoli with a splash of water to the skillet. Steam covered for 3–4 minutes until bright green.
  5. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet. Pour in the honey garlic sauce and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Serve hot over rice or quinoa; garnish as desired.
