  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the brownie layer: Mix melted butter, sugars, and eggs until combined. Stir in vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; fold into wet ingredients. Pour into greased springform pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  3. For the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar and mix until fluffy. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream.
  4. Pour cheesecake filling over cooled brownie layer and bake for 50–60 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly.
  5. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
