Ingredients

  • 250 g Dark chocolate
  • 200 g Milk chocolate
  • 200 g Butter or baking spread
  • 150 g Golden syrup
  • 100 g Malted milk or digestive biscuits (broken)
  • 75 g Mini marshmallows (gelatine-free if vegetarian)
  • 200 g Maltesers
  • Optional: 75 g Malteser Teasers or Buttons, and additional Maltesers for decoration

Instructions

  1. Line an 8" square tin with baking paper and lightly grease.
  2. Melt butter, golden syrup, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate in a saucepan over low heat; cool for 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine broken biscuits, mini marshmallows, Maltesers, and optional toppings.
  4. Pour two-thirds of the cooled chocolate mixture over fillings; stir to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer to the lined tin and smooth down; add remaining chocolate mixture on top.
  6. Decorate with extra Maltesers before refrigerating overnight until set.
  7. Slice into squares and serve.
