  • 125ml cream (heavy or thickened)
  • 12 Tiramisu sponge fingers
  • ½ cup port/sherry/muscat (or juice)
  • 1½ cups custard (store-bought or homemade)
  • 400g mixed berries
  • 200ml thickened cream
  • 1 tsp custard powder
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jelly according to package instructions and chill until set.
  2. Mix the partially set jelly with cream until fluffy; layer it over the jelly in dessert dishes.
  3. Soak sponge fingers in port, then layer on top of the cream.
  4. Pour custard over the sponge layer and add chopped berries.
  5. Whip thickened cream with custard powder; pipe onto each trifle.
  6. Garnish with whole berries and mint leaves; chill until serving.
