- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Paprika
- Italian seasoning
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken pieces with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté chopped onion for 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer and let thicken for about 5 minutes.
- Add cooked spaghetti and chicken back into the skillet; toss to coat in sauce.
- Sprinkle cheese on top, cover skillet for 2-3 minutes until melted.
- Serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
