- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2–4 tbsp milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix warm milk, melted butter, egg, red food coloring, and vanilla in another bowl; combine with dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Knead on a floured surface until smooth; let rise in an oiled bowl for about 1 hour.
- Prepare filling by mixing softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly and roll tightly into logs. Slice into 12 pieces.
- Place in greased dish to rise for another 30 minutes; bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
- For frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth; add powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.
