  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend (for glaze)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet; transfer to a stand mixer.
  2. Mix in sugars and eggs until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F; prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Form dough into balls and flatten slightly on sheets.
  7. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden; cool on racks before glazing.
  8. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, spices, vanilla, salt, maple syrup, and heavy cream until smooth; dip cooled cookies.
